Animal Activists are so WRONG

I have sat and listened to their speeches, visited their sites, heard about their donations given to them for rescue, and then I listen to animal activist intake and view on dog breeders.  I would like to share my viewpoint on this topic and what it means to me.   

YES, I agree puppymills need to be shut down.  Anyone who raises dogs in terrible conditons is wrong!  However, everyone who raises dogs is not a puppymill.  Most kennels in Iowa are very clean and well run by caring animal lovers who give their time and energy every day to raise beautiful healthy and happy puppies.  A lot of money is put into their business, with everything done for the care and keep of their animals.  NO, we are not terrible , horrible people that only think of MONEY.  WE are doing what we love to do and trying very hard to do it at the best of our ability.  Placing a beautiful little pet into a family and hearing how much that family loves and cares for their pet is our greatest reward. 

IT is time for you, the consumer,  to  step up and tell the animal activist you choose to get your new family pet from a wonderful breeder who raises great little pets. IT IS YOUR CHOICE. 

You will be able to identify the animal activists by the way they speak.  They will tell you ONLY adopt don't shop, if you get that puppy from a breeder or a petstore you are supporting PUPPYMILLS.  Please don't fall for their campaign aimed at all dog kennels and breeders.  IF You fall for all of their hype they will one day have control of all our pets and decide just exactly who will get a dog and for how much they choose to charge.  Where will your grandchildren get their kids a family pet if all the animal activists set out to do what they want to do. 

Always remember,  you do have a choice that is the American way.
